I founded Petronela’s Hope three years ago to support and assist survivors of domestic violence, and I know firsthand what it takes to help people every day as a volunteer. I am incredibly grateful for the many charities and businesses in Medway that contribute to the development of our community.

This year, Petronela’s Hope nominated 15 charities and 15 businesses, all of whom accepted their nominations and attended the Gold Charity Award Medway event on February 1, 2025.

A heartfelt thank you to all the Medway Council councillors and distinguished guests who participated in the judging process and selected the winners. Special thanks to the Deputy Mayor, who had the honor of choosing the Community Champion Award (Business Category) winner, Let Me 2—congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
