On 12 April 2022, Petronela Zilik organised the Voices of Domestic Violence Women’s Conference at St George Hotel.
This conference brought together women, survivors, professionals, and community members to raise awareness about domestic abuse and to empower women with knowledge, support, and hope.
The conference focused on:
- Understanding domestic abuse and coercive control
- Women’s rights and available support in the UK
- Healing and recovery after abuse
- Building confidence and resilience
- Creating a supportive community for women
This event was one of the earliest major conferences organised by Petronela Zilik and helped lay the foundations for what later became Petronela’s Hope.
